Hey all! I'm at my folks house and have access to the net.
So, here's the dealio, I got my hours cut at work, so now I'm going from 35 hr per week 15 hours per week. It's nothing I did wrong, just I need a little more practus and with our busy season comming up, he needs someone who can work a little faster than I can right now.
Knitting is going fine. I got a charity hat done last week and am still on the second square of Jes's baby blanket.
Speaking of babies, next month, husband-man and I are going to try to get preggers. I'm uber excited! I'm even willing to give up my knitting room for the potential little one. I guess the only thing I'm worried about is some of the meds I'm on can hurt a baby and even though I'll be off the meds in a few weeks (God willing)I don't know how long they'll stay in my system. I guess I'll just have to hear what the doctor will have to say.
Anyway, yesterday was my lil bro's birthday. I can't believe that he's 20 already. I can still remember when we first adopted him and I wouldn't stop hugging him in the back seat of the car. I even let him hold my Grover doll! But now he's all grown up and saving China (A cookie to whoever gets that movie reference).
Derick's birthday marks the beginning of a ton in our family. First theres his than Grammy's, then Nate's, then mine, then his girlfriend, Brandi's... plus Brandi's birthday is also my parents anniversery. Thern there's Nates family where there are four birthdays in September (Brandi and mine are in October, but close enough).
